Rajvir Jawanda's antim ardaas: Late Punjabi singer's prayer meet scheduled for October 17

Punjab lost a young, talented star earlier this month, as Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda breathed his last at the age of 35. Following a serious road accident, the actor sustained severe injuries and succumbed to multiple organ failure. His late rites were held on October 9, and now his family has shared that his bhog and antim bog (prayer meet) is scheduled for Friday

In an emotional post shared by Rajvir’s family on his social media handle, they shared that his prayer meet is scheduled for October 17, 2025, at 11 am at village Pona, Ludhiana, Punjab.Along with the venue and timings, there’s a heartfelt note that reads – “With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Rajvir Singh Jawanda has departed for his heavenly abode on 8th October 2025 (Wednesday). He will forever remain in our hearts and memories. For the peace of his soul, the bhog and antim ardas of Shri Sehaj Path Sahib will be held.” Thereafter, there are details on the time and venue, followed by a few more words, “We request that you take the time to attend and join in the spiritual prayer and pray for the peace of the departed soul: Grief-stricken, the whole Jawanda family.

Punjabi singer-actor Rajvir Jawanda was one of the most loved artists of the industry. He was on a trip to Himachal, when his vehicle lost control after a cattle suddenly came in front of his bike. He was admitted to Fortis Mohali for proper care and was on ventilator support till his last breath.Everyone was praying for the artist, but fate had other plans. At his funeral, the entire industry turned up, from Karamjit Anmol, Kulwinder Billa, to Ranjit Bawa. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also paid his tribute.
