TRIGGER WARNING: This article contains mention of death.Rajvir Jawanda, a popular Punjabi singer, passed away after suffering a road accident. 11 days ago, Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda met with a car accident, which resulted in him getting admitted to the hospital. He had been on life support since then, with no major updates shared about his health.

While receiving treatment at the Fortis Hospital, Mohali after his car accident, Rajvir Jawanda passed away on October 8. He had been in an accident and was being treated for his spinal and head injuries. He was involved in a road accident in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27 after he got into an accident with stray cattle.As per various reports, the actor had been rushed to the hospital in the early hours of the day and had been evaluated and treated immediately. He had been in a critical condition over the past few days, with no other updates shared until now.The news was confirmed through an online post shared by Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi.

About the iconic Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda

Rajvir Jawanda was a prolific singer in the Punjabi music industry and had been active for quite some years now. He began his journey in 2014 with the song ‘Munda Like Me.’ His breakout song was ‘Kangni’, which helped him skyrocket to fame. Some of his other popular songs include, ‘Surname’, ‘Kamla’, ‘Mera Dil’, and ‘Sardari.’Beyond music, he was also known for starring in a lot of hit Punjabi films as well. He has starred in movies such as ‘Jind Jaan’, ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’, ‘Mindo Taseeldarni’, and ‘Kaka Ji’, to name a few.He started his educational journey at Jagraon’s Sanmati Vimal Jain School and later joined DAV College for his graduation degree. For his post-graduation, the singer studied at Punjabi University and fell in love with music there.
