Talking about haunted houses and ghosts, Rajpal shares a perspective shaped by years of listening to stories and observing life. “Whether I believe in ghosts or not,” he says, “since childhood, we’ve all been made aware of them through family, neighbors, and stories.” For him, the idea of ghosts is closely tied to the concept of energy. He explains that the soul is eternal—like air—sometimes positive and sometimes negative and that these ideas have existed for centuries through folklore, literature, and cinema.For Rajpal, horror as a genre will always have its own space. “Whether it’s children, young people, or adults, if a few horror films are released every year, they will still be appreciated,” he says.
