Priyamani on working with SRK, Ajay, Manoj Bajpayee

‘Each one of them is unique’: Priyamani opens up on working with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee

Priyamani is known for her versatile roles in films like ‘Jawan’, ‘Maidaan’, and the acclaimed series ‘The Family Man’. She has carved a unique space in Indian cinema, moving effortlessly across languages, genres, and platforms. In a recent interview with IANS, she shared what guides her choice of roles, “If I find them convincing, that yes, I can do this, and I see myself doing it, only then do I do it. Otherwise, I don’t.” Her instinct-driven approach and commitment to authenticity have allowed her to explore a wide range of characters while maintaining credibility and audience appeal.

Priyamani follows instincts when selecting roles

When asked about her selection process, Priyamani emphasised that personal connection matters more than genre or fame. “It is not like I do roles only from a particular genre. I choose roles that I like. If I find them convincing, that yes, I can do this, and I see myself doing it, only then do I do it. Otherwise, I don’t.”

Priyamani worked with top Bollywood superstars

Priyamani has shared screen space with some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Manoj Bajpayee. Reflecting on these experiences, she said, “Each one of them is unique and a superstar in their own right. Their working styles are very distinct. I feel extremely lucky to have worked with them so early in my career. And yes, given the opportunity, I’d love to work with all of them again.”She also expressed admiration for their dedication, “They’ve all worked extremely hard to reach where they are. Their success is well deserved, and I wish them all the best always.”

Priyamani on the work front

Fans have appreciated her work in high-profile projects. She played Lakshmi in Atlee’s blockbuster ‘Jawan’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Priyamani is set to appear in Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’, a project that fans are eagerly awaiting. Go to Source
