'Pritam and Pedro': Cast, plot, trailer, release date of Arshad Warsi, Vir Hirani and Vikrant Massey starrer revealed

The trailer for ‘Pritam and Pedro’ places Arshad Warsi and Vir Hirani at the center of a new cybercrime chase, with Vikrant Massey playing the threat they must stop. The JioHotstar series marks Rajkumar Hirani’s OTT debut and introduces his son Vir Hirani in a lead role. The trailer drew quick reactions from fans, who praised the twists, Arshad’s return to the comedy-action space, and Vir’s first full-fledged acting outing.

‘Pritam and Pedro’ trailer and plot

Rajkumar Hirani created and produced ‘Pritam and Pedro’. Hirani, Abhijat Joshi, and Suyash Trivedi created the story and screenplay. Avinash Arun, known for ‘Three of Us’, ‘Killa’, and ‘Paatal Lok’, directed the series.The show follows Pedro, played by Arshad Warsi, a cop transferred from the crime branch to the cyber cell as punishment. He then joins forces with Pritam, played by Vir Hirani, a young hacker. Together, they confront a dangerous cybercriminal, played by Vikrant Massey, who has kidnapped a minister’s son.Sharing the trailer, JioHotstar wrote, “Hackers ki fielding set hai, kyunki Pritam and Pedro are reporting for duty!” The series will stream on JioHotstar from July 3, 2026.
