Prem Chopra gets discharged from Lilavati Hospital, doctors share health update

Veteran actor Prem Chopra, 90, was discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after treatment for chest congestion and a viral lung infection. He has a pre-existing heart condition but was never in critical danger. He responded well to treatment and is now recovering at home.

Prem Chopra, the well-known Bollywood actor, discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, November 15. He was admitted there on November 8 due to breathing issues. The 90-year-old actor was treated for chest congestion and is now doing better.

Doctors’ statement and family update

According to the report, doctors at the hospital revealed that Prem has an existing heart condition and had contracted a viral infection impacting his lungs. They assured that his condition was never critical. Due to his age and overall health, he was closely observed for a few days. According to his family, he responded positively to treatment and was stable enough to be discharged and return home.

A few days ago, Sharman Joshi, who is married to Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerana, shared an update saying, “All good thank you, just some tests, back tomorrow.”
