Prabhas birthday special: Prithviraj on their instant bond

Prabhas birthday special: When Prithviraj Sukumaran said it’s impossible to know him and not be his friend

Celebrating his birthday, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran took a moment to express his admiration for fellow star Prabhas. He painted a portrait of a man whose kindness knows no bounds and whose fame doesn’t define him. Prithviraj recounted how Prabhas remains blissfully unaware of his stardom, choosing instead to embrace a tranquil life in nature, far from the glitz and glam.

Telugu superstar Prabhas celebrates his birthday on this day (October 23). On this special day, let’s revisit a moment when Prithviraj Sukumaran spoke about his deep admiration for the pan-India star.In an interview with Hindustan Times, Prithviraj had said, “It’s impossible to know Prabhas and not be his friend instantaneously.”Prithviraj also described Prabhas as someone who “finds joy in other people’s happiness” . According to the Mollywood actor, his ‘Salaar’ co-star constantly looks after everyone around him. The ‘Khalifa’ actor fondly recalled how their bond blossomed instantly on the sets of ‘Salaar’.According to Prithviraj, Prabhas’ generosity extends beyond his on-screen charisma. “He’s always feeding everyone good food, making sure they’re comfortable,” he shared. Prithviraj further added that he quickly understood why people affectionately call him “Darling.”

The superstar who’s unaware of his own fame

Despite commanding an enormous fan following of 13.3 million Instagram followers, Prabhas remains remarkably detached from his celebrity image. As reported by 123Telugu, Prithviraj revealed that the actor doesn’t handle his social media accounts personally. “The greatest takeaway from Prabhas is that the best thing you can do with your stardom is to be unaware of it,” he said. “He has no clue about the euphoria associated with him. Whatever posts you see on Instagram aren’t done by him — I know that for sure.”This unassuming attitude, Prithviraj noted, is what makes Prabhas unique in an industry often defined by glamour and attention.

A star who finds peace in simplicity

Prithviraj also spoke about Prabhas’ love for solitude and nature. “He’s happiest surrounded by trees, forests, and his farmhouse — far from phones and crowds,” he shared. The Malayalam actor was in awe of how Prabhas finds joy in quiet moments, away from the spotlight.Meanwhile, Prabhas continues to expand his filmography with upcoming projects like ‘The Raja Saab’, ‘Spirit’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD 2’, ‘Salaar 2’, and ‘Fauji’.
