Pooja Bhatt shares vintage throwback photos with Aamir Khan, teases untold story behind the clicks

Pooja Bhatt sent fans into a nostalgic frenzy after sharing vintage throwback photos with Aamir Khan from an old photoshoot by photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha. The two previously starred together in the 1991 hit ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’. Pooja teased an untold story behind the clicks, saying ‘not just yet.’

Pooja Bhatt recently took her fans on a trip down memory lane by sharing a lovely throwback picture with Aamir Khan from an old photoshoot. The vintage photographs, taken by the well-known photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha, quickly got fans feeling all nostalgic.

Along with the pictures, Pooja left her followers curious with a teasing note on social media. She wrote, “Someday I will share the story behind these impromptu photos shot on Gautam Rajadhyaksha’s balcony,in his sprawling home on Hughes road. But not yet.. Not just yet.” In the throwback clicks, a young Aamir and Pooja can be seen twinning in white and striking candid poses for the lens.

Aamir and Pooja are no strangers to sharing the screen. The duo appeared together in the super hit 1991 romantic drama ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’, directed by none other than Mahesh Bhatt. Alongside Anupam Kher, the film became a massive hit and is still counted among Bollywood’s most loved romantic classics. While Aamir played the role of a kind-hearted journalist named ‘Raghu Jetley’, Pooja played a wealthy runaway girl called ‘Pooja Dharamchand’.

Pooja made her first appearance on the big screen in 1989 with ‘Daddy’, which was directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. Veteran actor Anupam Kher was also a part of the film.

Aamir Khan rose to fame with ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in 1988

For those who may not know, Aamir made his mark as a lead actor with the 1988 blockbuster ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, where he starred opposite Juhi Chawla. On the other hand, Pooja has kept herself busy recently with projects like ‘Bombay Begums’ and Bigg Boss OTT 2.
