'Peddi' trailer's FIRST review; Naga Vamsi compares Ram Charan to Virat Kohli; Calls Janhvi Kapoor ravishing

‘Peddi’ has become one of the most eagerly awaited films of 2026. The excitement around the film has intensified after producer Naga Vamsi shared his response to the trailer ahead of its official release.The producer took to X and compared Ram Charan’s powerful screen presence to the dominance of Virat Kohli on the cricket field.

In his X post, Naga Vamsi wrote, “Just watched the #PeddiTrailer… this one is going straight OUT OF THE PARK Kohli Cricket…adatam andaru chusaru kadha adhe Kohli kusthi kuda aadithe Ela untundo just imagine ala Undi Mega Powerstar @AlwaysRamCharan garu in an absolute beast mode! #JanhviKapoor looks absolutely ravishing And wait for the crossover shot in the end…PURE MASS CINEMA.”

Alongside Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. Naga Vamsi also praised her appearance and presence in the trailer.The film is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Music is composed by A. R. Rahman. The cast also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu.

Trailer launch event in Mumbai

The trailer will be unveiled at a special event in Mumbai on May 18. The venue is Jio World Drive, and the event is scheduled to begin at 3 PM. Reports from 123 Telugu say that Ram Charan has already arrived in Mumbai. Buchi Babu Sana, and other team members are expected to attend the launch.The makers shared the update with the Tweet, “MUMBAAIII, brace for his arrival #PEDDI is coming tomorrow to your ground #PEDDITrailer Takeover event on May 18th at JIO WORLD DRIVE, Mumbai 3PM Onwards #PEDDI in cinemas worldwide on 4th June. #GetReadyForPeddi.” Set against the backdrop of rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s, the film blends cricket and traditional wrestling into a large-scale emotional sports drama.’Peddi’ is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on June 4, 2026.
