'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do' box office collection day 9: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer witnesses growth; crosses Rs 45 crore global mark

Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan’s romantic comedy ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ has been showcasing low but steady numbers at the box office. As the movie opened to mixed reactions from the audience, the film’s highest collection to date has been Rs 7.75 crore. While the film was already struggling to pull the audience to the theatres, the arrival of new movies made it more difficult for the Ayushmann starrer.

The film directed by Mudassar Aziz earned Rs 17.5 crore during the first three days (opening weekend) at the box office. However, since its first Monday, the movie started showing a downward trend in collections. According to the Sacnilk report, the movie saw a 105.2% increase in box office numbers on Day 9 compared to the previous day’s earnings. The film collected Rs 2.77 crore on Day 9 across 2,916 shows. With that, the total India gross box office collection has reached Rs 39.35 crore, while the total India net collection stands at Rs 33.12 crore.On the other hand, the Ayushmann starrer has minted Rs 5.85 crore in gross collections overseas, pushing the total worldwide gross collection to Rs 45.20 crore.

Box office competition

Vivek Soni’s ‘Chand Mera Dil’, starring Lakshya and Ananya Panday, arrived in theatres on May 22, 2026. On the same day, the Hollywood film ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’ has also hit the cinemas. The release of both movies has affected the box office collection of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’.
