Jyotika opens up on film’s box office triumph

Actor Jyotika recently reacted to the overwhelming audience response received by Karuppu and expressed her happiness over the film’s commercial success.During an interaction with Sudhir Srinivasan, the host compared Karuppu to Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and noted that while the film may not necessarily be considered Suriya’s finest work from a critical standpoint, it delivered the theatrical celebration fans were looking for.Responding to the observation, Jyotika said, “We’re very overwhelmed. Suriya loves telling good stories and he always makes sure there’s a story in every film. But the box office numbers are also required, I think, for the heroes. Or for actors, any actor, any budget. No one’s here to be at a loss. So, it’s very important for them also to churn out the numbers.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
