'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do' box office collection Day 2: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer witnesses growth but fails to cross Rs 10 crore mark

Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ has received a decent response at the box office. The film opened to mixed reviews from the audience. Though the film showed growth on its second day at the theatre, it couldn’t match the collections of its predecessor, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, starring Kartik Aaryan. The Mudassar Aziz-directed film minted Rs 4 crore on its opening day. According to the Sacnilk report, the film saw a 43% increase in its box office collection on day 2. The movie raked in Rs 5.75 crore across 6,717 shows. With that, the total India gross collection has reached Rs 11.70 crore, and the total India net earnings stand at Rs 9.75 crore.On day 2, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ netted Rs 1 crore overseas, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 2.00 crore. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 13.70 crore.

Compared to the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer, the 2019 release featuring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday had raked in Rs 12.33 crore on day 2. Meanwhile, the day 1 earnings were Rs 9.10 crore. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ was released on December 6, 2019.
