Probe reveals alleged rave parties in Mumbai and Dubai

A recent development in the probe indicated that rave parties were organised in Mumbai and Dubai by Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, a close aide of fugitive drug kingpin Salim Dola, who is linked to the Dawood Ibrahim network.Officials said Shaikh hosted lavish parties, which were allegedly attended by several well-known individuals, including Dawood Ibrahim’s late sister Haseena Parkar’s son Alishah, and actors Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Siddhant Kapoor. In their remand plea before a Mumbai court, the police also listed film producer duo Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique as among those allegedly present at some of the events. Investigators are currently cross-checking these claims and verifying the identities of individuals mentioned by the accused.

Officials say Orry’s appearance is part of verification

According to India Today, officials stated that Orry’s questioning is part of the process to corroborate or refute the trafficker’s statements. The ANC is also analysing digital footprints, communication records, and financial transactions linked to the events under scrutiny. The case has so far resulted in multiple arrests and large drug seizures. Police expect more summons to be issued as they work to map the extent of the network and verify the involvement of those whose names have emerged. Authorities reiterated that the inquiry is at a preliminary stage.
