Clearing the air, Cooke experimented with adding bits and pieces of extensions to her natural hair during the first season of the fantasy show to reshape the look. “In the first season, it was like pieces because my hair was quite blunt and square, so they just like wanted to like taper it. Boring,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. In the previous year, the actress had to wear half-wigs in some of the scenes, while other looks required whole wigs. Confessing to the moment where she did ‘the girl thing,’ the British actress said, “I did that girl thing where I’m just like I chopped my hair off because I felt that it was too much emotional weight and regretted it instantly, so they had to make me a wig,” chuckling with a grin.
