What is ‘Oh Sukumari’ about?
Written and directed by Bharat Dharshan, the film blends romance, comedy and family drama with an unusual central premise. The story follows Yadagiri, played by Thiruveer, a young man who dreams of building a career in politics. His life changes after he falls in love with Damini, also known as Sukumari, portrayed by Aishwarya Rajesh.Damini lives with a mysterious condition that causes anyone who touches her to receive an electric shock. Because of this unusual problem, finding a suitable groom becomes a major challenge for her family. Despite the complications, Yadagiri marries her. Set in rural Telangana, the film explores love, relationships and family dynamics through a light-hearted narrative with a fantasy element.
