Telugu shows recorded an average occupancy of 39.14% on Sunday, while Tamil stood at 16.63% and Hindi at 9.23%. Thaman’s score faces plagiarism debate

Recently S Thaman’s high-octane soundtrack for the film has kickstarted a plagiarism debate among the audiences. The much-hyped theme track The Trance of Omi, created for Emraan Hashmi’s antagonist role, has now landed in a plagiarism storm. Social media users pointed out striking similarities between this track and Albanian singer Irkenc Hyka’s song Lumi Une which was released in January 2024.

The debate gained momentum after a clip comparing both songs went viral online. While some fans accused Thaman of lifting the tune, others defended him, saying it could be coincidental or a case of inspiration. Meanwhile Thaman or the ‘OG’ team has not yet responded to the same.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
