While attending the 98th Oscars, A’Zion got candid about her audition experiences, including the time that she tried her luck to play the red-haired mermaid from ‘The Little Mermaid.’ She opened up about the matter to Variety, where she talked about how, during one of her auditions for the role, she ended up forgetting the lyrics to one of the main songs. Talking about the worst audition experience of her life, the actress added, “I sang ‘Part of Your World.’ I was so nervous that I forgot the lyrics to ‘Part of Your World’ while I was singing it. Then they were like, ‘Just do it normal.’ I couldn’t do it normal, I’d memorized it in that voice. I left like, ‘That was the most embarrassing thing on planet Earth.’”Odessa concluded that it was one of the most “embarrassing” auditions of her life, and that she was never even contacted by the team for anything after she walked out of the room.
