The Tamil version of the film recorded an overall occupancy of 12.55 percent on its first day. Morning shows registered 8.85 percent occupancy. Afternoon shows improved to 12.62 percent. Evening shows recorded 11.31 percent occupancy. Night shows witnessed the best response at 15.08 percent.

‘Nooru Saami’ tells the story of Selvi, played by Swasika, a mother who raised her two sons on her own. The narrative follows the emotional journey that unfolds after she reveals her desire to marry again. Sasi reunites with Vijay Antony nearly a decade after ‘Pichaikkaran’. Vijay Antony appears as Ezhumalai who is a sugarcane worker whose presence becomes significant in the latter part of the film.
