Nazriya Nazim joins ‘Suriya 47’ shoot

Nazriya Nazim joins 'Suriya 47' shoot; Suriya and Jyotika’s sweet gesture wins hearts

Nazriya Nazim has officially joined the shoot of ‘Suriya 47’, a project helmed by Jithu Madhavan. Suriya and Jyotika extended a warm welcome with a thoughtful gift hamper. This marks Nazriya’s first on-screen collaboration with Suriya in what is anticipated to be an action-comedy film.

Actor Suriya is currently busy shooting his upcoming film which is tentatively titled as ‘Suriya 47’. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the project began with a traditional pooja ceremony in December last year, marking the official start of production. Shooting has been ongoing for the past two months, but the latest buzz from the sets has excited the audience. Nazriya Nazim has now officially joined the schedule, bringing new energy and enthusiasm to the work.

Nazriya Nazim receives a warm welcome from Suriya and Jyotika

Nazriya confirmed the update on social media. The actress shared a glimpse of a special gift hamper she received upon joining the shoot. Suriya and Jyotika’s gratitude is visible in a beautiful hamper they sent to the actress, which contained flowers and a handwritten welcome note. Though part of the note was not visible, what was revealed appeared to be a friendly greeting to Nazriya and an acknowledgment of the stunning grace and charm she displayed on screen.

‘Suriya 47’ cast and story

‘Suriya 47’ is likely to be an action-comedy film, and Suriya seems to portray an odd police officer. The movie’s premise appears to be about a few strange cops whose lives are upended when they face a particular case. Apart from Suriya and Nazriya, the film also features actors like Naslen K. Gafoor, Anandraj, and John Vijay in important roles. Sushin Shyam composed the music for the film, having earlier collaborated with Jithu Madhavan on the hit Malayalam film Aavesham. Interestingly, this film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Nazriya and Suriya.

Nazriya Nazim’s first film with Suriya

The project carries another interesting connection: Jithu Madhavan had earlier directed Nazriya’s husband Fahadh Faasil in the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Aavesham.’ Meanwhile, Nazriya continues to stay busy with multiple projects across languages. She is set to appear in the web series ‘The Madras Mystery – Fall of a Superstar’ alongside Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and has a film lined up with Tovino Thomas. Nazriya has now started shooting for Suriya 47, with her joining, the movie carries high expectations from cinema-loving audiences.
