‘Dhurandhar 2’ trailer expected to drop on March 6

'Dhurandhar 2' trailer expected to drop on March 6 along with a brand new poster, after 'Toxic' pushed to June 4

Fans are anxiously waiting for the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ after the thunderous response that the first part of the film got. A few days ago, a report suggested that the trailer was supposed to be a day before Holi. However, trade expert Taran Adarsh clarified and said, “‘DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE’ TRAILER TOMORROW? NOT TRUE… A section of the media has been circulating reports that the trailer of the eagerly awaited #DhurandharTheRevenge will be unveiled tomorrow [Tuesday, 3 March 2026]. Let’s set the record straight, the makers have never issued any official announcement stating that the trailer will drop tomorrow. I spoke to #JioStudios, who clarified that an official announcement will be made when they are ready to unveil the trailer. Until then, wait for official confirmation.” Now as per a latest report by Variety India, the makers are planning the unveil the trailer on March 6, Friday. A brand new poster is also likely to be released a day prior, along with confirmation that the film will hit theatres on March 19.This development comes after the team behind ‘Toxic’, headlined by Yash, opted to postpone their film from its original March 19 release date due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Initially, both big-ticket films were slated to clash at the box office. However, with the Gulf being a significant market for Yash, the makers shifted Toxic to June 4. The geopolitical situation is unlikely to significantly impact Dhurandhar 2, especially since the first installment did not release in the Gulf or Pakistan, and the sequel is also not expected to screen in those territories. With the clash now averted, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is poised to enjoy a solo run at the box office, potentially capitalising on its opening fortnight without competition. The film has already begun generating strong numbers overseas. According to Sacnilk, it has grossed $70K (Rs 58.1 lakh) from premiere bookings in North America for shows scheduled on March 18. Combined advance sales for opening day, including premieres, have crossed $100K (Rs 83 lakh) in the United States.
