Nargis opens up about stem cell therapy for knee injuries

Nargis Fakhri opens up about stem cell therapy for knee injuries, shares update on her recovery: 'I feel at least 75 to 80% better'

Nargis Fakhri revealed she underwent stem cell therapy to treat chronic knee injuries caused by years of dancing. The actor said she feels 75–80% better after two months. Having avoided surgery a decade ago, she now encourages others with similar issues to try stem cell treatment before opting for surgery.

Nargis Fakhri recently opened up about her recovery journey, revealing that she underwent stem cell therapy to treat chronic knee injuries. In a video message to her fans, the actor shared that years of dancing had caused meniscus tears in both her knees, prompting her to choose a bone marrow stem cell procedure for healing.

Nargis Fakhri shares her recovery progress

In the clip, the actress shared, “Hi guys, I would love to share my journey with you about my stem cell. I did the bone marrow stem cell for my both knees. They had meniscus tears due to dancing and I am two and a half months in and I’m feeling absolutely amazing. I can actually say that I feel at least 75 to 80% better”.

Nargis Fakhri reveals why she chose stem cell therapy

She shared that this wasn’t her first experience dealing with knee injuries. Nearly ten years ago, she received a similar diagnosis but decided against undergoing surgery back then. Nargis said, “About 10 years ago I had the same issue with my knees, meniscus tears on both knees and I actually did not want to get surgery, which was proposed to me many times. Instead I went the physio way and I strengthened my muscles but that took me a very long time. That took me maybe I would have to say years to be honest”.The actor mentioned that the availability of stem cell therapy played a key role in shaping her decision this time. “And this time stem cell is available now to everybody which is absolutely amazing. So I decided to contact Regen Ortho Sport and speak to Dr. Movva about it. He gave me the confidence and so I went with it and I’m just very happy that I did because from years of physio to now two and a half months feeling pretty good is a huge difference,” she added.

Nargis Fakhri advises others to try stem cell treatment

Urging others facing similar challenges to explore different options, Fakhri advised, “So anyone who’s out there like having these issues with their knees, I highly recommend trying the stem cell before any kind of surgery.”
