'The Ba***ds of Bollywood: Actor who played anti-drugs cop in Aryan Khan's show REACTS to overwhelming love, says, 'I just did my job'

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut show, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, featured a lot of meta references. And one of them was a scene where an anti-drugs official visits a party. The netizens felt that the scene was an indirect dig at the former Narcotics Control Officer (NCB), Sameer Wankhede, who had arrested Aryan in a drug case. The parody didn’t go well with the ex-official, and he has sued the makers of the show for the same.

The actor who played the role of NCB official in the show is Ashish Kumar. Now, he has reacted to the overwhelming love the character has gotten. The actor who recently created an Instagram account received a lot of comments on his post. A comment read, “Bhai, woh dhoondh raha hai (brother, he is looking for you).” To which Ashish asked who, and the commenter replied, “Sameer, jiska role kiya (Sameer, whom you played). The actor dropped a laugh emoji as a response.A person wrote, “Sameer Wankhede ki fielding set kar di (You roasted Sameer Wankhede),” and Ashish quickly replied, “God bless everyone, bro, I just did my job.”
