'The Raja Saab' trailer: Prabhas battles evil spirits in a spine-chilling and comical supernatural ride starring Sanjay Dutt; makers share release date

The Rebel Star fans have a reason to celebrate as the much-awaited trailer of ‘The Raja Saab’ has finally been released after multiple delays. The maker dropped the 3-minute 34-second trailer on Monday.

Trailer details of ‘The Raja Saab’

The trailer opens with Prabhas, who seems to be sitting with a hypnotist, being asked to close his eyes and take a deep breath. In an eerie tone, the Bollywood song “Koi Yahan Nache Nache” plays as he appears to travel back to a kingdom in the past. As the trailer progresses, it becomes gnarly and the audience is treated to jump scares. A haunted house is shown with supernatural activities along with some funny puns. Later, the trailer shifts to lighter moments and introduces the female leads.

Zarina Wahab’s intense plea

As it moves forward, Zarina Wahab’s character is seen praying to Goddess Durga for the protection of her grandchild, taking an intense turn to the story. Prabhas is shown on a mission to take on the evil spirits, battling multiple creatures, including even a crocodile.Sanjay Dutt plays the main antagonist, portrayed as a man who manipulates the mind, a psychiatrist, hypnotist, and exorcist all in one. His character is described as someone impossible to face. The trailer ends with a glimpse of Prabhas himself, now wielding supernatural powers.

Cast of the film

Directed and written by Maruthi, the film also features Sanjay dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Zarina Wahab in key roles. The film features music by Thaman S. Ahead of the release, the team confirmed that the trailer will be shown both digitally and during theatrical screenings. They wrote, “With still 3 months to go #TheRajaSaabTrailer is dropping TOMORROW at 6 PM. A special sneak peek into how wild, thrilling and electrifying this world is going to be. The visuals and energy are set to hit on an entirely different level. And also, TRAILER will also be screened in theatres for fans. Theatres list will be revealed shortly #Prabhas #TheRajaSaab.”
