Telugu star Naga Chaitanya is busy with next project, which is the mystical adventure thriller, ‘Vrushakarma’ directed by Karthik Dandu. As the film is currently in the production stage, the latest buzz suggests that the film might get postponed from its expected theatrical release date.

‘Vrushakarma’ reportedly release date

According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers seem to be planning a December 2026 release. However, there is still no official confirmation from the team regarding the release date.Reports say that the film’s post-production work is taking more time than expected. Since ‘Vrushakarma’ includes heavy visual effects and fantasy elements, the makers reportedly want to spend extra time to complete the work properly.Earlier in a conversation with Variety India, Naga Chaitanya spoke about the film where he also discussed its scale. “There is a lot of VFX involved in ‘Vrushakarma’ as we want to create a large-scale theatrical experience for the audience,” he said.

‘Vrushakarma’ shooting almost done

During the same interview he also shared that the film is almost complete and they are considering it to release during August or October. He said, “The film is 90 per cent complete, but there is still 10 per cent left. That is why we don’t have an exact release date yet, but are eyeing the August to October window.”But if the latest reports are believed to be true the film seems to be getting pushed for a couple of months.Speaking about the production, earlier this month the maker also revealed that they have completed a crucial schedule of the film in Rajasthan and shared some behind the scenes pictures, where the team can be seen shooting and chatting.

Cast of ‘Vrushakarma’

The film also stars ‘Laapataa Ladies’ fame Sparsh Shrivastava as the main villain and features Jayaram and Satya in key roles. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
