Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is all set to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the upcoming 71st National Film Awards in Delhi. Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya took to Instagram to show her pride and love for her father’s incredible journey. She posted a collage of his iconic roles from across the years and wrote, “Congratulations Acha. We’re all so so proud of you for the incredible artist you are and for the incredible human you are. #dadasahebphalkeaward.”The warm post captured the pride of a daughter who has seen the person behind the superstar and his hard work over the decades.

PM Modi praises Mohanlal’s versatile acting career

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared his admiration for the actor, praising his extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema and culture. In his message on X, he wrote, “Shri Mohanlal Ji epitomises excellence and versatility. With a rich body of work spanning decades, he stands as a leading light of Malayalam cinema, theatre and is deeply passionate about the culture of Kerala. He has also delivered remarkable performances in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films.”

After the announcement, Mohanlal himself reacted with humility and gratitude. Taking to social media, he wrote, “I am deeply humbled and profoundly honored to receive The Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
