Miley Cyrus SPOTTED filming ‘Hannah Montana’ 20th Anniversary Special; brings back ICONIC blonde wig - WATCH

Miley Cyrus sent fans into a frenzy when she announced her 20th anniversary special of her hit TV show, ‘Hannah Montana’. In a latest from the sets, the actres was spotted on Sunday, driving around Malibu, along with her filming crew. The star sent fans into a tizzy when she turned up on set with her iconic blonde wig, complete with a fringe. She topped the look with an all-black outfit with her golden shawl around her waist.

The special, which is set to return to screens after 20 long years, will reportedly premiere on Disney+ on March 24, 2026. Last week, Cyrus teased the project on Instagram, sharing, “Going back to where it all began. The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premieres March 24 on Disney+.”

While official details remain under wraps, images circulating online show Cyrus fully transforming into Hannah. A video also shows the star interacting with her filming crew while they paused to take notes about the shoot. It is unclear if the singer was shooting a special sequence for the show or a possible new music video.

Miley teases Hannah Montana special

As per reports, the anniversary special will be hosted by podcaster Alex Cooper, known for her hit show ‘Call Her Daddy’. The programme is expected to feature never-before-seen archival footage and revisit some of the series’ most iconic sets. Miley is also reportedly set to perform some of the character’s biggest hits, including ‘Best of Both Worlds‘.The return of the new show comes shortly after Miley teased something special in the works. Miley spoke about the preparations and pointed to her hairstyle and told Variety, “You see the bangs.”Earlier, Miley also spoke about whether the show could return with a new actor playing Hannah Montana. She made it clear, “I don’t know if there is a new Hannah. This is the only Hannah.”
