Many people had been looking forward to Prince Harry’s return to the UK for the famous Invictus Games events. One of the hot topics had been about seeing his family, Meghan Markle, along with their children, Lilibet and Archie, at the event. However, according to the latest reports shared online, the trio will not accompany the Prince anytime soon. Here is what we know so far about the matter.

Meghan Markle, Lilibet, and Archie will not join Prince Harry in the UK

According to recent reports shared by PEOPLE, Prince Harry will visit the UK later next month for the official Invictus Games event. However, his wife, Markle, will not be by his side this time. The 41-year-old is expected to travel to Britain sometime in July for the games, ahead of the 2027 competition. He will attend the promotional events alone in Birmingham, England. The outlet further reported that one of the main reasons why his family will not be joining him is security. There have been concerns surrounding the unresolved status of the protection meant to be for their family in the UK.Another report from The Mail on Sunday, which was released at the beginning of the year, had confirmed that Prince Harry qualified for security eligibility in Britain. At the time, the royal had been attempting to get approval for security clearance for his wife and children; however, as per the latest developments, the efforts have remained futile.

Prince Harry had been hoping to get Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet connected with British routes

Many had been expecting the children to accompany their father to the UK after reports had surfaced about his concerns. According to a Page Six report released only a few days ago, the Prince desperately wants his children to connect to their British roots. A statement from the same report cited, “Harry is keen to reconcile with the royal family.”Further on, it was added that “While Harry would love to bring Markle, 45, and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, back to his homeland, sources stressed that no firm plans have been made and matters are first focused on the Invictus event.”As for other developments, Prince Harry had been looking forward to reconciling with the royal family; however, the efforts have not been met with enthusiasm. Over the past weekend, his cousin Peter Phillips tied the knot to Harriet Sperling. While Prince Charles and Kate Middleton, along with King Charles and Queen Camilla, were invited to the event, he was nowhere to be found at the family event. Not only that, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also not been invited to this year’s famous Trooping the Colour, King Charles’ annual birthday parade. The event is being held today, and while the royal family is assembling for the event, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet again not been invited after they gave up their royal status.
