Megastar Chiranjeevi’s special wish for CM Vijay

'You should win people’s love like MGR': Megastar Chiranjeevi’s special wish for CM Vijay

Megastar Chiranjeevi personally called Vijay to congratulate him after he officially became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), recently achieved a historic victory in the state elections, creating huge excitement among supporters and cinema fans. During the phone call, Chiranjeevi wished Vijay success in his new political journey and said he hopes the TVK government’s “praja paalana” will stay in the hearts of Tamil Nadu people forever. He also reportedly told Vijay that he strongly believes he will offer “janata ke kalyan” focused governance and bring positive change to the state.

Chiranjeevi’s wish for Vijay

While speaking to Vijay, Chiranjeevi fondly remembered legendary leader M. G. Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. As reported by TV9 Telugu, Chiranjeevi reportedly told Vijay, “Nadu MGR saadhinchinattuga, meeru kuda prajala prema pondali” (Just like MGR earned immense love from the people, you too should receive the same affection and support). He also said Vijay should continue to inspire people with “clear vision and strong leadership.” Vijay was emotional and happy after receiving the personal call and blessings from Chiranjeevi. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister also thanked the megastar for his affection, wishes, and encouraging words.

Chiranjeevi’s earlier social media message for Vijay went viral

This is not the first time Chiranjeevi has openly praised Vijay’s political success. On the day election results were announced, Chiranjeevi had already shared a special congratulatory post for Vijay on social media. In the viral message, he wrote, “Dear Vijay, my heartfelt congratulations for this amazing victory in your very first election.” He further added, “I hope you continue to inspire and lead people with the same determination and lakshyam.” The message quickly became viral across social media platforms, with mega fans from Telugu states and Vijay fans from Tamil Nadu widely sharing the post online.

Chiranjeevi shares a strong bond with Vijay’s father, Chandrasekhar

Another reason behind Chiranjeevi’s warm wishes for Vijay is his long friendship with Vijay’s father, veteran filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar. Chandrasekhar directed several successful films starring Chiranjeevi during the early years of his career, including ‘Chattaniki Kallu Levu,’ ‘Devantakudu,’ and ‘Palleturi Monagadu.’ In recent interviews, Chandrasekhar praised Chiranjeevi’s respect for directors and his humble nature. He recalled, “Chiranjeevi never got angry even after many takes. He would just calmly say, ‘Okay, sir,’ and perform.” He further revealed that he learned Telugu with Chiranjeevi’s help while shooting films. Go to Source
