'Mass Jathara' box office collection day 5: Ravi Teja starrer adds Rs 76 lakhs on Wednesday

Ravi Teja’s ‘Mass Jathara’ has seen a moderate box office opening, with collections dipping on Wednesday. The film earned Rs 13.56 crore in total, a stark contrast to his previous hit ‘Dhamaka’. Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, it features Ravi Teja as a railway policeman battling smugglers.

Ravi Teja’s latest release ‘Mass Jathara’ featuring Sreeleela has had a decent start at the box office. The film minted its lowest collection on Wednesday suggesting a rather underwhelming performance.As per trade analyst Sacnilk, on its premiere day and Saturday, the film made a fine start, raking in Rs 3.1 crore and Rs 4.2 crore, respectively. On Sunday, it continued to pour in decent numbers collecting Rs 3.15 crore. Later, on weekdays, the film’s collections went on a slow pace as it made Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.15 crore on Monday and Tuesday. Now, as per the early estimates, the film made Rs 76 lakhs. This makes the total collection stand at Rs 13.56 crore.

Ravi Teja and Sreeleela’s previous outing together

Interestingly, the previous film pairing Ravi Teja and Sreeleela ‘Dhamaka’ was one of the most profitable films of the actor. The movie, released in 2022, went on to make Rs 84.7 crore.

Theatre occupancy

Yesterday, the film recorded a 13.77% Telugu occupancy. It started at a decent 13.46% in the morning and then went up to 15.25% in the afternoon. Throughout the day, it recorded its lowest occupancy during the evening shows at 12.94% and ended the day with a slightly increased 13.43% at night.
