The ‘Jab We Met,’ ‘Chamkila,’ ‘Love Aaj Kaal’ filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has always been known to bring the most emotionally rich tales to the big screen. On Friday, June 12, 2026, he did the same again when he brought his latest release ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ to the theatres. Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari, the movie received a positive response from both critics and audiences. It opened with decent numbers and is trying to maintain momentum at the box office amid competition from other movies. According to Sacnilk, day 5, i.e., its first Tuesday, witnessed a slight growth. The Imtiaz Ali directorial added Rs 1.65 crore net to the tally across 2,139 shows. These numbers show a 43.5% rise from Monday’s net collection of Rs 1.25 crore.With this, the film’s India gross collections have been pushed to Rs 9.88 crore, and total India net to Rs 8.30 crore so far.
