This Friday, June 12, Imtiaz Ali served the audience his highly awaited movie, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga.’ Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari, the film garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences. However, the strong word of mouth didn’t translate into box office numbers. The movie had a decent opening on Friday, with a slight growth in earnings over the weekend. Further, on its day 4, the first Monday, the romantic drama recorded a fall. According to the latest trade reports, the net collection of ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ in the domestic market currently stands close to Rs 7 crore, while the gross earnings have crossed the Rs 8 crore mark. According to Sacnilk, the Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah starrer earned Rs 1.25 crore net on Monday across 2,139 shows. These numbers show a 50.0% drop from Sunday’s net collection of Rs 2.50 crore.This brings total India gross collections to Rs 8.10 crore and total India net to Rs 6.75 crore so far.
