In another moment captured by photographers, the couple shared an emotional embrace on the field, with Sharma kissing the cricketer on the cheek. Sharma has previously denied an engagement when the ring became a talking point among fans and social media users. Many suspected that the beauty was engaged to the cricketer after photos and videos from their special pooja ceremony went viral online. In the clips the couple was seen wearing matching traditional attire while offering a pooja ceremony, surrounded by 3-4 priests. Her presence at the game, seated in the VIP box and the ring on her hand, adds fuel to rumours that the couple may have taken their relationship to the next level.

Hardik on his future in cricket

Pandya, on winning the Cup, shared with reporters that he hopes to win 10 more ICC titles over the next decade. Speaking after the title win, the Indian all-rounder said, “I have 10 more years left in me, and I want to win 10 more ICC titles. That’s my goal. [on winning at home and defending the title] It’s quite emotional. Because of winning the WC in India, the excitement of the people is amazing. The effort we have put in… From yesterday, I knew we are champions. The only self-belief I had was that there was no other result. Losing wasn’t a thought.”
