Global star Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead in SS Rajamouli’s grand upcoming globetrotter film, ‘Varanasi’ starring Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and Malayalam star Prithiviraj Sukumar. As the Desi Girl celebrates her birthday today, her co-stars shared their joyous wishes with her new look from the film.
Mahesh Babu’s wish
Mahesh Babu who will be seen as Rudra took to his Instagram handle to share pictures of Priyanka Chopra from ‘Varanasi’. Along with it, he wrote, “Happy birthday to the one and only ‘Mandakini’. Have the most amazing year ahead PC..Sending you lots of love and wishing you happiness always!!!”

SS Rajamouli also shared the pictures on his official handle and wrote, “Grace when she smiles. Fire when she doesn’t.”Along with him, Prithiraj Sukumar who plays the main antagonist wrote, “Happy Birthday Mandakini.”

The ‘Varanasi’ film handle took to its Instagram handle to share pictures of Priyanka Chopra from sets. In one picture of the post, PeeCee can be seen doing a stylish black outfit with a fierce look. In the background some background artists can also be spotted. The second picture shows in her more casual attire as she dons a top, shirt and jeans. The image seems to be of a dance number or just a casual click where she is seen in a joyous mood. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar who has also bonded well with Priyanka Chopra during her trip to Hyderabad also took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Happy Birthday PC. Hope this year is your best one yet. U r looking absolutely killer in this. Can’t wait to see more of the fire that’s in store.”
‘Varanasi’ marks Priyanka Chopra’s much awaited comeback to Indian cinema after she was last seen in 2019 romance drama, ‘The Sky Is Pink.’‘Varanasi’ is set to release in theatres on August 7, 2027.
