‘Mahabharat’ fame actor Pankaj Dheer passed away at the age of 68 after battling cancer. The news of his sudden demise left everyone in a state of shock and grief. Tributes have been flooding in, and amid all this, the video of his last appearance on camera is garnering love. The late actor, popularly known as Karan from ‘Mahabharat’ was last seen in Farah Khan’s Vlog, where he was joined by his two close friends and on-screen brothers – Puneet Isshar and Feroz Khan. The former played the role of Duryodhan and the latter essayed the character of Arjun in B.R. Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat.’

Pankaj Dheer’s last appearance on Farah Khan’s Vlog

Pankaj Dheer was a guest on Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan’s Vlog. In the episode that was broadcast in January this year, he was joined by Puneet Isshar and Feroz Khan. The shoot happened at Farah’s house, where Puneet or Mahabharat’s Duryodhan, was making his saag mutton recipe. Pankaj Dheer expressed his wish that he could taste the dish, but he had to leave in the middle of the shoot because of prior commitments. However, he was all smiles throughout the video.

Farah Khan’s episode with Pankaj Dheer and his friends was nothing short of a ‘Mahabharat’ reunion. Pankaj recalled how Puneet used to eat over 50 puris in a single go back in those days. Meanwhile, Puneet and Firoz kept teasing Pankaj with the name ‘Pinks.’ There was a point where Pankaj highlighted that while people may not know his real name, everyone recognizes Karna.

Pankaj Dheer worked in both television and Bollywood. He made his debut in movies in 1981 with the film ‘Poonam.’ However, it was B.R. Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’ in 1988 that fetched him all the fame.
