‘Laalo’ enters Rs 100 crore club

'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate' enters Rs 100 crore club; Gujarati industry celebrates historic milestone

Gujarati cinema has witnessed a historic moment as ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ has officially crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.Actor Karan Joshi shared the achievement publicly via his Instagram handle. The actor called it a massive victory for the entire team and the Gujarati film fraternity. Director Ankit Sakhiya’s film has now marked its position as one of the biggest commercial successes in the history of Gujarati cinema in recent years.

Celebs and fans congratulate

Puja Joshi, Malhar Thakar, and Saandeep Patel were among the first to congratulate the team of ‘Laalo’. Parthiv Gohil posted a special poster with the caption, “Dream Work = Team Work. લાલા ની લીલા અપરંપાર… #100crore #history.” Actor Swapnil Joshi commented under the post, “Incredibleeeeeeeee !!! Many many congrats to the entire team !!!” while writer Raam Mori added, “Many many congratulations !! This pride event for every Gujarati..”Even fans were emotional about the achievement. One netizen wrote, “Proud moment for every gujarati.. jai jai garvi gujarat.” Another user commented, “many many congratulations,” while someone else added, “Many congratulations Gohil saheb! Lots of love to entire team of #Laalo.”

Box office holds strong even on day 51

Despite completing fifty days in theatres, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate continues to perform strongly. As reported by the Sacnilk website, after earning an estimated Rs 80 crore India net in its first 50 days, the film collected about Rs 1.65 crore on Day 51, proving its incredible staying power. The film registered 26.91% occupancy in Gujarat on Saturday, November 29, with night shows soaring at 56.18%.More than just a box office feat, the success of ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ has become a cultural celebration. Due to the theme of the movie, it’s getting much love from the family audiences and the occupancy rates for ‘Laalo’ surely looks impressive, hinting at more bigger numbers at the box office.
