Gujarati blockbuster ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ is once again proving its unusual consistency at the box office. According to the latest reports, on day 54, the film registered a solid Rs 1.1 crore. While Day 53 stood at a modest Rs 85 lakhs, Day 54 saw the graph move upward, as reported by the Sacnilk website. With this, ‘Laalo’ has now reached Rs 100.75 crore gross in India and Rs 107 crore worldwide.

Crossing historic milestones

The breakdown of the recent performance shows how unpredictable yet relentless the film’s run has been like this – Day 48: Rs 1.35 crore; Day 49: Rs 1.15 crore; Day 50: Rs 90 lakhs; day 51: Rs 1.75 crore; Day 52: Rs 2.50 crore; Day 53: Rs 85 lakhs; Day 54: Rs 1.10 crore. With Rs 86.20 crore net in India, a 94.16% India share, and Rs 6.25 crore from overseas markets, Laalo has earned the right to be called an all-time blockbuster.

The story that continues to move audiences

The emotional connection of ‘Laalo’ has been one of the strongest driving forces behind its box office success. The film follows Laalo who is a poverty-stricken rickshaw driver burdened by trauma and regret, who ends up mysteriously trapped inside a remote farmhouse while chasing quick money. The farmhouse becomes a metaphor for Laalo’s inner world ,every locked space, every shadow, every memory forcing him to rebuild himself from within. ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ is not slowing down, and its theatrical run has now turned into something that the Gujarati film industry has never witnessed before.
