Kriti joins Vijay-Rashmika at star-studded reception

Kriti Sanon joins Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna at star-studded wedding reception; 'Cocktail 2' girls cuddle up for cute pic

Newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were joined by several prominent names from the Indian film industry as they hosted a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad on Wednesday night.Among the guests in attendance was Rashmika’s ‘Cocktail 2’ co-star Kriti Sanon, who arrived at the venue with filmmaker Karan Johar. The duo briefly posed for photographs before heading inside to join the celebrations.For the occasion, Kriti chose a black lehenga with sequin detailing, wearing her hair down, she accessorised with statement earrings. Later in the evening, candid pictures from inside the reception surfaced online, showing Kriti posing with the newlyweds.

In one widely shared image, Vijay and Rashmika were seen huddling up close to Kriti as they smiled for the camera. Another pic from inside the celebrations, saw Kriti and Rashmika sharing a light-hearted moment, holding each other around the waist while posing for the cute photo. Kriti and Rashmika are set to share screen space in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Cocktail 2’, directed by Homi Adajania, who was also reportedly present at the reception. The film, which was shot partly in Spain last year, is slated for release in September 2026.

Rashmika and Vijay’s week-long celebrations

Rashmika and Vijay tied the knot on February 26 and have spent the past week celebrating with family and friends. In keeping with tradition, the couple has also been visiting temples and seeking blessings as they begin their married life.At the reception, Vijay briefly joked with the paparazzi, saying, “Thank you for all the love. Today, we want to finish the celebration and go underground.” Rashmika stunned in a traditional bright red saree with a gold and green border, paired with heavy gold jewellery. Vijay opted for a classic white traditional ensemble for the occasion.The reception saw several leading industry figures, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja, Namrata Shirodkar and Radhika Sarathkumar, among others in attendance.
