‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ box office collection day 1: Kapil Sharma, Ayesha Khan, Parul Gulati starrer collects Rs 1.75 crore, falls short of part 1 opening day record

Kapil Sharma’s much‑awaited comedy, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’, hit theatres on 12 December 2025. The sequel to his 2015 hit was expected to attract large audiences, but its opening day box office performance was disappointing compared to the first part.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ box office collection day 1

As reported by Sacnilk, early estimates show the film earned Rs 1.75 crore net in India. This is far below the original ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, which opened with Rs 10 crore in 2015. The low turnout may be due to competition from Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ and Kriti Sanon‑Dhanush’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.On its opening day, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 16.45% Morning shows saw a turnout of 5.91%, while afternoon shows improved slightly to 13.90%. Evening screenings fared a little better with 17.21% occupancy, night shows had 28.77%.

About ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’

The film follows a man who dreams of marrying the woman he loves. But circumstances push him on an unexpected journey. He ends up married to three women from different religions, creating confusion, misunderstandings, and comic chaos. The film is a laugh-packed drama exploring love, mistakes, and the funny side of modern relationships. The film is directed by Anukalp Goswami and features an ensemble cast including Kapil Sharma, Ayesha Khan, Parul Gulati, Tridha Choudhary, Warina Hussain, and Manjot Singh. Adding a touch of nostalgic charm, the late veteran actor Asrani also appears, bringing his memorable presence to the screen.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ review

The Times of India rated the film 2.5/5 stars. A part of the review stated, “Kapil Sharma displays noticeable growth as an actor. Beyond his impeccable comic instincts, he gives glimpses of emotional range, crying scenes, musical moments, and even some energetic dancing. Still, he shines brightest when delivering punches or reacting to the chaos around him. Tridha Choudhary emerges as the most confident of the three wives, bringing poise to her role. Ayesha Khan looks striking on screen and executes her part well. Parul Gulati, though limited by screen time, performs earnestly. Warina is the weak link; her expressions and dialogue delivery feel exaggerated, breaking the film’s rhythm at times.”It further added,“Manjot Singh is simply superb as Mohan’s childhood friend Hubby, delivering some of the film’s sharpest and most memorable comic moments. Late veteran actor Asrani adds bursts of nostalgic charm, effortlessly owning every frame he appears in. Among the music, “Phurr” by Kapil Sharma, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Josh Brar stands out as the film’s only energetic track, while the rest of the album fades quickly into the background. Ultimately, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a chaotic, light-hearted entertainer that works if you’re watching purely for Kapil Sharma’s brand of humour.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
