A new day on the South African sets of ‘King’ call for new photos leaking online. This time around, fans were over the moon to get cool shots of Shah Rukh Khan in character as he filmed scenes alone.

Shah Rukh Khan shoots for ‘King’

Layered up in a button-down shirt, and a jacket, Shah Rukh was spotted by fans, walking around the sets with his team and bodyguard. On spotting fans filming the sta, his bodyguard was seen lowering a large umbrella to hide the superstar’s look. A viral video shows SRK walking up to a stall on the sets to check it out, before moving on to take a seat on the rocks nearby, waiting for his shot.

Shah Rukh Khan spotted sans co-star Deepika Padukone

The film’s crew was spotted at another scenic beach location in Cape Town, after SRK and co-star Deepika Padukone spent the previous evening shooting a romantic dance scene on a beach amid a breathtaking sunset. The co-stars were seen filming an intimate dance sequence, while fans gathered around the sets and watched them film.

Shah Rukh Khan shoots solo scenes

Besides shooting some romantic song sequences with Deepika, Shah Rukh has been spotted out and about the busy streets of Cape Town, shooting some solo scenes and other shots in a car. News reports previously stated that SRK and Deepika would be shooting an intense climax scene, however, since their arrival on the sets last week, the cast has been filming what appears to be a song and dance segment in the film. Rumours are rife that the song in question will be a rumoured Ed Sheeran track. Leaked videos from the sets even gave fans a tease of the peppy number.

Director Siddharth Anand’s request to fans

Following the leak, director Siddharth Anand took to his social media handle to share a note requesting netizens not to share the leaked photos from the sets. His post read, “REQUEST TO ALL THE FANS. Please do not post or circulate any leaked multimedia from the sets of KING. The team is working around the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intended to. Thank you for your love, support and cooperation. Shah Rukh Khan in & as KING.”

‘King’ release date

‘King’ which marks another collaboration between Khan and Padukone, is among the most anticipated Bollywood releases currently in production. The action flick, also starring Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, will release in theatres on December 24, 2026, making it a major Christmas release. Go to Source
