Khushbu Sundar, the well-known actress and politician, has given her opinion on the current hysteria featuring Vijay and Trisha Krishnan. The two stars were seen together at a wedding reception, photos of them went viral quickly, prompting discussion across all social media channels. Responding to the discussions, Khushbu said there was no reason to make it a big issue, as it concerns the actors’ personal lives.

Khushbu questions over public interest

Speaking with IANS, Khushbu questioned why people were paying so much attention to the incident. According to her, everyone has a personal life that should be respected. She said that unless someone’s personal life seriously affects society or the public, there is no need to debate or analyse it. Khushbu explained that Vijay and Trisha have their own lives, and the public does not need to interfere in such matters.Khusbhu added, “I don’t understand what people have to do with this incident. It is their personal life. If their personal life affects people, we can talk about it. Their personal life has nothing to do with people. Why are people making it a big deal? They will see their own life. People are not affected in any way.”

‘Annaatthe’ believes it will not affect Vijay’s popularity

During the interaction, Khushbu was also asked whether the discussions around the incident could affect Vijay’s popularity. The actress dismissed that idea, saying she does not believe such things influence the public’s opinion of an actor. She added that people are capable of making their own decisions and understanding what matters to them when supporting their favourite stars.“I think people are right when they vote. They know when to vote and where to vote. I don’t think it will affect anyone’s personal life. He is a human being. Whether he is a leader or not. He is a common man like us. He has nothing to do with people’s personal life,” said Khushbu.Khushbu further stressed that actors and public figures are also human beings who deserve privacy like everyone else. She said that being a leader or a popular star does not mean every aspect of a person’s life should be discussed publicly. According to her, people should focus on their own lives rather than speculating about celebrities’ private lives. Her remarks come at a time when Vijay and Trisha’s joint appearance at a wedding reception has been widely shared and discussed across social media platforms.
