Kevin Spacey reveals he is HOMELESS

Kevin Spacey says he is HOMELESS, seven years after sexual assault scandal: 'I literally have no home'

Hollywood star, Kevin Spacey has claimed that he is currently homeless and shuttling between hotels and rentals. In a new interview with The Telegraph, the two-time Oscar winner revealed the extent of his financial and personal losses he has incurred since the sexual assault scandal erupted in 2017. In a candid chat with the portal, he said, “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

Spacey on his financial condition

The actor went on to state that his financial condition was “not great”, noting that while he has managed to avoid bankruptcy, the legal battles and fewer work projects has been devastating. “I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out,” he shared.

Back to square one

Despite the legal vindications, Spacey says his professional exile continues. “In weird ways, I feel I’m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was.”The actor also shared that all his belongings from his Baltimore home are now in ‘storage’. He, however, did admit that he hopes to settle down again if opportunities continue to improve.

About his legal battles

Spacey’s career took a downward spiral after he faced accusations of sexual assault from more than 30 men, including actor Anthony Rapp. He denied all allegations, and in recent years, he was found ‘not guilty’ in a high-profile UK trial in 2023 involving four complainants. In 2022, a New York jury also found him not liable in Rapp’s civil lawsuit.
