Keanu Reeves reportedly marries longtime partner Alexandra Grant in an intimate European ceremony

Keanu Reeves has reportedly tied the knot with his partner, artist Alexandra Grant, in a private ceremony in Europe earlier this summer. According to Radar Online, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate setting away from the public eye.“The wedding took place in Europe earlier this summer, very intimate and very discreet,” an insider told the outlet. “They’d talked about it for years, but in the end they wanted something that was just for them. Keanu and Alexandra value their privacy, so keeping it a quiet secret fits them perfectly.”

A bond built over years

Reeves, 61, and Grant, 52, confirmed their relationship publicly in 2019, though they first met a decade earlier in 2009. Their friendship grew into romance and has also flourished through creative collaborations, including a book project.Grant, a respected visual artist and author, has been described as Reeves’s “rock” and someone who “healed him after many tragedies.”

Healing after loss

The actor has endured heartbreaking personal losses in the past. In 1999, his then-girlfriend Jennifer Syme suffered a miscarriage. Two years later, Syme tragically died in a car accident at the age of 28. At the time, Reeves admitted, “Sorrow and loss never truly disappear.”Friends of the actor believe Alexandra has brought comfort, peace, and happiness back into his life.
