Actor Antony Varghese has reacted after a fake social media page allegedly spread misleading claims related to his latest release ‘Kattalan’. The controversy surfaced shortly after the film hit theatres on the last day.The page, operating under the name Antony Varghese Fans Club, claimed that there was a deliberate attempt to damage the film through organised negative reviews online.

The page also alleged that the review attacks were connected to the PR team of Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’.Antony Varghese addressed the issue through his Instagram Stories and distanced himself from the page.
Antony Varghese clarifies fake fan page claims
In his statement, Antony Varghese clarified that the page has no association with him or his official fan groups.“It has come to my attention that a fake Facebook page posting as my “fan page” is circulating posts and spreading false information. Please note that this page is completely unauthorized and has absolutely no affiliation with me or my actual fan community. They are intentionally spreading fake news to create unnecessary allegations and drama,” the actor wrote.The actor also requested followers not to encourage the page by sharing or engaging with its content. “Do not believe, share, or engage with anything posted there. Thank you to everyone who brought this to my attention! Stay safe,” Antony added.
Raj Tirandasu talks about challenging shoot
Meanwhile, actor Raj Tirandasu, who plays the role of Maari in ‘Kattalan’, recently opened up about his experience shooting with real elephants during the making of the film.Raj, who earlier appeared in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ described the action scenes involving elephants as one of the toughest parts of his acting career.“It was honestly scary at times because we were working with actual elephants that had already been part of other film shoots. One small mistake and things could have gone completely wrong,” he told ETimes.The actor further explained that the unpredictability of the animals added realism to the action sequences.“Somewhere, that unpredictability gave the action a completely different energy. You cannot fake those reactions or emotions on screen,” Raj added.
