Actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan has once again found himself at the centre of online criticism following one of his interviews. During an interview, the ‘Dhamaal 4’ actor opened up about the poverty he experienced in his early years and how those struggles continue to influence his mindset even today. Recalling his struggles in life and beginnings in career, he shared that despite his success, he still hesitates to order expensive meals or even send his clothes for laundry while staying at 7-star hotels. He also shared that the memories of financial hardship have never left him.

Ravi Kishan still feels hesitant at 7-star hotels and orders just Khichdi

In a video clip from the interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Ravi Kishan said, “I have seen such poverty that even now, when I go to a 7-star hotel, I don’t order good food. Whether it is from the production budget or my own money or even if I have gone for the publicity of my political party.”He further went on to add, “Till date I only order a simple khichdi. I even hesitate to give my clothes to the laundry. I think I’ll wash them when I go home, be it Gorakhpur, Delhi, or Mumbai. So that poverty is still there in my mind.”

Netizens react to Ravi Kishan’s ‘I eat Khichdi in 7 stars hotels’ comment

Sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), a user wrote, “We’ve seen Poverty 2.0” Commenting on the post, a user wrote, “As for you, Leader, you have only seen it; we, on the other hand, have endured it,” while another joked, “Same energy as Ambani ji saying ki roti nahi khata dry fruits khaa ke kaam chalata huSame energy as Ambani ji saying ki roti nahi khata dry fruits khaa ke kaam chalata hu”Another user quipped, “Brother, you should act only in flims, don’t speak in real life.” One user even wrote, “Aisa ho jaata hai kayi baar…..
