Katrina Kaif makes first public appearance after welcoming baby Vihaan; fans say, 'We missed you so much'

After embracing motherhood, Katrina Kaif has largely stayed away from the public eye. The actor, who welcomed her first child — baby boy Vihaan — with husband Vicky Kaushal on November 7, 2025, recently made her first appearance since delivery, delighting fans.

Katrina steps out, keeps it low-key

On Tuesday, Katrina was spotted seated inside a car alongside celebrity Pilates trainer Yasmin Karachiwala. Dressed in a simple black jumper and wearing a black face mask, the actress kept her outing minimal and fuss-free. Her hair was neatly tied back, and the new mom appeared calm and relaxed.Though she chose not to remove her mask, Katrina acknowledged the paparazzi filming her. She smiled warmly and waved from inside the car, giving fans their first glimpse of her since she and Vicky announced the birth of their son.The video quickly went viral on social media, with fans expressing excitement over seeing the new mom out and about. Many commented on how radiant she looked even in a casual appearance.

Vicky Kaushal on being a ‘brand-new dad’

At a recent event, Vicky opened up about stepping into fatherhood. Calling himself a “brand-new dad,” he shared that baby Vihaan is three months old and that there is very little a father needs to do at this stage.He revealed that he is currently trying to be a cheerleader and is waiting for his son to grow older so he can contribute more actively. Praising Katrina, Vicky said, “Right now, the mother is being the superhero, and she has been a warrior through her pregnancy. She has been a warrior as a mother as well. I’m so incredibly proud of her, and I love her so much.”

‘Sleep deprived’ but blissful

Katrina and Vicky have been over the moon since welcoming their son in November 2025. On their fourth wedding anniversary in December, Vicky shared that they have been “sleep deprived,” but blissful and deeply grateful since the arrival of their little one.The couple tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur.
