Karur stampede tragedy: Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan & stars express grief, Celebrities’ emotional posts flood social media

The death of 39 people in a stampede at a Karur event led by Vijay yesterday (September 27) has caused shock and grief across Tamil Nadu. Following this incident, film celebrities, are sharing their condolences.

Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan expressed deep sorrow

Many film stars expressed their feelings in remembrance of this tragic accident. Superstar Rajinikanth posted on his X page, “The news of the loss of innocent lives is heartbreaking. My deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured.” Similarly, Kamal Haasan also expressed his condolences. He said, “The news coming from Karur is heartbreaking. I express my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. The injured should be provided with necessary treatment and relief,” he posted.

Vishal and Vadivelu called the accident heartbreaking

Actor Vishal said, “This is an absolutely tragic accident. The loss of so many lives, including children, is heartbreaking. May the souls of the deceased rest in peace and may their families find solace.” Actor Vadivelu had said, “I was moved to tears upon hearing this news. Not a single life should be lost anymore.” His heartfelt posts received a lot of attention on social media.

Soori stressed support for affected families

Actor Soori wrote on his X page, “I pray that the souls of those who lost their lives in this tragic moment may rest in peace. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. The affected families should receive our emotional and practical support,” he said. He also cautioned that incidents such as crowding should not lead to loss of life and that innocent children should not become victims. Actress Oviya expressed deep sorrow over the manner in which the accident occurred. Director Ameer wrote in his post, “So many lives should not be wasted. When will the lives of innocent people be sacrificed in the name of cinema and politics end?” he asked with pain. These emotional posts from many film celebrities have further reinforced the tragedy of the Karur incident on social media.
