Karan Johar’s confession leaves Janhvi Kapoor shocked

'I've been intimately involved with...': Karan Johar's scandalous confession leaves Janhvi Kapoor shocked

Karan Johar surprised Janhvi Kapoor on a talk show with a joke about a family member. He later revealed it was a prank to get a reaction. The guests also discussed love versus compatibility in marriage. They debated whether emotional infidelity is worse than physical infidelity. Janhvi disagreed with the others’ views.

Karan Johar recently shocked Janhvi Kapoor by joking about being involved with a family member on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talks show. He later clarified it was just to get a reaction.

Truth or Lie game gets spicy

During a game of Truth or Lie, Janhvi dared Karan to share, “Tell us one scandalous truth about yourself and one lie, and we’ll guess which is true.” With a playful grin, Karan replied, “I lost my virginity at 26, and I’ve been involved with a member of your family.”Janhvi’s eyes widened while Twinkle and Kajol burst out laughing as Karan quickly clarified that only the first statement was true. “I lost my virginity at 26, but I’ve never been intimate with anyone from your family—though the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times,” said the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director.

Guests share views on love and compatibility

The show’s ‘This or That’ segment had guests share their opinions on prompts. The first question asked whether love or compatibility matters more in marriage. Twinkle and Janhvi said love is essential, while Kajol and Karan prioritized compatibility.Kajol said that love cannot last without compatibility, adding, “Love is the first thing to fade after marriage if you aren’t compatible.” Karan agreed, noting that eventually, factors beyond love also become important.

Debate over emotional vs physical infidelity

The next question asked whether emotional infidelity is worse than physical infidelity. Janhvi stood alone in thinking physical cheating was a deal breaker, while the others felt emotional betrayal was worse. Karan said, “Physical infidelity is not a deal breaker,” and Janhvi disagreed, “No, the deal is broken.” Twinkle added, “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen what we have. Raat gayi baat gayi (What’s happened, has happened).”
