Kangana REACTS to claims she hurt Vir during KISSING scene

'Weirdo using us to satisfy her demonic fantasies': Kangana Ranaut REACTS to claims she hurt Vir Das during KISSING scene

Journalist Simi Chandoke claimed on a podcast that Kangana Ranaut injured Vir Das during a kissing scene in ‘Revolver Rani’. Vir dismissed the claims as “pure fiction,” calling Kangana a true professional. Kangana thanked Vir and slammed the journalist, calling her a “weirdo” with “demonic sex fantasies.”

Kangana Ranaut has come out swinging in response to the recently revived controversy surrounding a kissing scene from Revolver Rani. When comedian-actor Vir Das publicly dismissed the widely circulated story that he was hurt during the 2014 film’s kissing sequence, Kangana expressed her gratitude to her former co-star for clarifying the truth. She didn’t stop there, the actor-turned-politician turned her fire on the journalist behind the claims, calling her a “weirdo” and accusing her of exploiting the actors to indulge what she described as “demonic sex fantasies.”

Vir Das vouches for Kangana Ranaut’s professionalism

Defending Kangana’s conduct on the sets of ‘Revolver Rani’, Vir stepped up to vouch for her professionalism. In his post, he wrote, “Right. Just so we are clear. This story is pure fiction. Kangana was a complete professional and I still maintain, a truly gifted artist. This is unfair slander to her. She went on to call me a terrorist a few years later for my comedy but on set…no problems at all.”

Kangana Ranaut takes to X to respond to allegations

Taking to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, Kangana responded to the circulating allegations that she had hurt Vir during a kissing scene in ‘Revolver Rani’. The actress used the opportunity to express her appreciation to Vir for stepping up and publicly shutting down the viral story.

Kangana Ranaut hits back at rumours with sarcasm

Responding to Vir’s post, Kangana brushed off the viral allegations and took a pointed, sarcastic dig at the rumours, while also extending her thanks to the comedian for speaking up. She wrote, “Thanks Vir but who is she? Ewww seems like some weirdo using us to satisfy her demonic s*x fantasies, I am eating your blood and you are traumatised and crying even today after a decade. How random (laughing emoji).’

How the Kangana Ranaut and Vir Das controversy started

The controversy surrounding Revolver Rani picked up steam on social media following journalist Simi Chandoke’s appearance on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, where she made a series of eyebrow-raising claims. According to Simi, Vir had an extremely difficult experience shooting the film alongside Kangana. She alleged that during a passionate kissing scene, Kangana got so caught up in the moment that she failed to stop even after the director called cut. Simi further claimed that Kangana not only continued past the end of the scene but also bit Vir’s lip so hard that it drew blood, leaving him in considerable distress.
