Kangana Ranaut once called Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli a 'power couple'; praised them for visiting Ujjain's Mahakal temple

Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli are often seen visiting temples and going on spiritual trips across India. Back in March 2023, the couple was spotted offering prayers at Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple. The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress was seen wearing a pink saree, while the star Indian cricketer wore a traditional dhoti. The video of them at the temple went viral, and many fans praised the couple.

Kangana Ranaut called them a power couple

Kangana Ranaut had then shared the video on her Instagram stories and praised them. She wrote, “Such a good example this power couple is setting. Not only it brings them the blessings of Mahakal but also in some way it glorifies the Dharma and a civilisation which is built on Sanatana, also on micro level this increases tourism in the temple/state and overall helps the nation with its self esteem and economy both.”

Virat on life after meeting Anushka

Anushka and Virat often speak warmly about each other. On a podcast by Danish Sait, Virat shared how life changed after meeting Anushka. He said, “When I met Anushka… I saw a different side of life. It wasn’t the same as my environment. It was a different perspective, a different point-of-view. When you fall in love, you start processing those changes within you, as well. Because you have to move together, and to do that you have to open yourself up, you have to accept a lot of things… You share ideas, you share perspectives, which I had never seen in my life. ”

About Virat and Anushka

Virat and Anushka are parents to two kids, daughter Vamika and son Akaay. Today, the family reportedly lives in London, where fans often see them enjoying everyday life together.

Anushka Sharma on the work front

Anushka’s last major film role was in 2018’s ‘Zero’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She also made a short appearance in the 2022 OTT film ‘Qala’, in the song ‘Ghodey Pe Sawaar’.
