Bhagyaraj’s eye donation
According to Nakkheeran, Bhagyaraj had pledged to donate his eyes well before his death. Soon after he passed away, a team of doctors reached his residence and carefully retrieved both corneas for transplantation. According to the report, the medical personnel preserved the donated tissue and ensured it reached the right hands without wasting time.

The report further says that the first eye was transplanted into a recipient on June 29, just two days after Bhagyaraj’s death. The second eye was successfully transplanted on July 2. Both procedures were completed after suitable recipients were identified, giving two visually impaired individuals a chance to regain their sight.
